This is the largest heavy duty bollard in our lift assisted residential range and is suitable for any application where the client requires a highly visible bollard with an excellent level of security.
The S14 Heavy Duty LA (850) bollard offers one of the strongest options within the residential range. This model has a 114mm diameter, 850mm height and with the additional steel insert, a heavy duty 6 mm thick steel wall. It has the added benefit of an internal gas actuated ram which reduces 70% of the lifting weight. In most cases the bollard will fully raise from the closed position when unlocked at ground level offering a stylish and simple bollard to operate. The lift assisted mechanism is ideal for those who may struggle with lifting a standard manual telescopic bollard or simply require ease of use.
Incorporating a 10 pin anti-drill and tamper-proof lock, it has been awarded the Sold Secure and Secure By Design accreditation. Made from grade 304 stainless steel with a brushed satin finish the S14 LA looks stunning, is extremely secure and requires very little maintenance.
The bollard can be used as your first line of defence for residential purposes or alternatively on commercial projects such as restricting vehicle access within busy urban areas with high pedestrian flow such as universities, stadiums and town centres.
