BENDY BUT STRONG
Our bollards may be Bendy, but to bend the bollard to an angle of up 40 degrees the minimum collision force required is 200KG. Each of our bollards can handle different force and following an impact the bollard will raise back to its upright position undamaged, causing none to very minimal damage to the car.
WHAT MAKES OUR BOLLARDS STRONG, FLEXIBLE AND LONG LASTING?
Rocycle bollards are made from mixture of 60% recycled vulcanised rubber and 40% unvulcanised rubber. The vulcanised rubber we use is recovered from the production of V-belts. The V-belts are chopped in to small pieces and processed in to rubber granulate which is then mixed with unvulcanised rubber. It is the V-belt properties that makes our bollards so extremely strong, flexible and chemical resistant to mention the least.
HELPING THE ENVIRONMENT
60% of each bollard is made from recycled rubber recovered from the production of V belts – which would otherwise go to landfill. We thereby reduce the amount of waste material and by doing so helping our environment.
