The Crash Bench 40 is a surface-mounted security bench, independently crash tested to IWA-14 and proven to stop a 7.5-tonne truck travelling at 40mph (64kph). Developed as part of the street furniture range, it combines hostile vehicle mitigation with practical public use.

Designed with a dual purpose, the Crash Bench 40 is not just a security barrier – it also serves as functional seating, with options to include tables. In addition, it can be deployed as a flood defence solution along riverbanks, offering flexibility where both protection and adaptability are required.

Installation is fast and straightforward, with no need for foundations, pinning, or fixings. Simply mark out the area, position the unit, and it is ready to use. Each Crash Bench 40 comes with a single bench as standard, with the option to add a second bench to create a double seating arrangement.
