Surface Mounted Crash Block - Crash Tested to stop a 7500kg vehicle @ 30mph, 40mph & 50mph

The Crash Block is a highly versatile, free-standing surface mount unit, crash-tested to PAS 68 and IWA 14 standards. It is proven to stop a 7.5-tonne truck travelling at 40mph (64km/h) on both the front face and in the gap between blocks.

Independent testing at the Horiba MIRA UK Vehicle Impact Testing Centre included three high-speed impact tests:

• Test 1: 30mph (48km/h) impact at 90° into the front face.

• Test 2: 40mph (64km/h) impact at 90° into the front face.

• Test 3: 30mph (48km/h) impact at 90° into a 1.2m gap between two blocks, with only 2.9m penetration recorded.

Crash Block can be installed as a permanent or temporary solution in just hours. Units can be clad to suit surrounding architecture or combined with planters and seating benches to blend seamlessly into public spaces — all without the need for excavation or disruption to existing groundworks.
