The cost-effective TRUCKSTOPPER 3 is a practical solution for both perimeter security and stand-alone bollard installations. Designed to counter the threat of anti-terrorist attacks, it offers a fast and straightforward assembly process.
With foundation depths of just 400mm and a 1m width, it’s engineered to compete with traditional perimeter fences and street furniture for ease of installation. Successfully crash tested at MIRA to BSI PAS 68:2007, it stopped a 7.5 tonne truck travelling at 30mph (48km/h) with zero penetration. The system is flexible enough to follow ground contours and corners, requires no ongoing adjustment or tensioning, and the steel construction offers a 20-year lifespan with only occasional repainting. Bollards can be finished with a mild steel or stainless steel shroud to suit the application.
For added versatility, the shroud can also be custom-made to any specification. Clients can choose from a wide range of materials, patterns, and finishes – including Cor-Ten, timber, polyurethane, or powder-coated colour options – allowing the bollard to blend seamlessly into its surroundings or serve as a feature design element.
