Unlike traditional rising bollards, the RB002-40 features Safetyflex’s patented spring steel design, delivering a highly durable, ultra-slimline profile that blends seamlessly into public spaces.

Crash tested to PAS 68, the RB002-40 is certified to stop a 7.5-tonne truck travelling at 40mph and has been tested as a single unit, so it does not need to be installed in an array. The bollard can be raised and lowered using a standard 18v cordless drill, with no mains power required—providing a cost-effective solution with minimal installation and maintenance requirements.

The RB002-40 comes with a grade 316 stainless steel shroud as standard, with up to one or two hi-viz bands in a variety of colour options.
