Yes, our SB.14 Standard plates are compatible with sports cars. We recommend pairing them with the SB.22 75mm Speed Ramp to ensure the correct approach speed. Flow plates are designed for traffic direction control, not speed reduction, so slower speeds are necessary to prevent potential damage.
Can I lock the plates down for emergency vehicles?
Yes, an SB.14 Locking Bar allows for temporary plate lockdown, enabling two-way access for emergency vehicles. This should only be used as a temporary solution, not a permanent fixture.
Are the SB.14 Standards suitable for heavy goods vehicles?
No, these are not suitable for HGVs, with a maximum load capacity of one tonne per axle. For both cars and HGVs, consider our SB.14 HGV Low Flap option.
